There are many ways to get involved with the Community Ambassador Program for Seniors:

Volunteer

Become a Community Ambassador - Each partner organization seeks community members to participate in the 40 hour information and referral training offered by the City of Fremont Human Services Department. Upon completion of the training, community ambassadors will serve seniors and their families in locating local senior resources, programs, and services.  This is a wonderful way to give back and serve the community. Contact one of the seven partner organization site coordinators for more information. Next training is in January, 2009

Donate

Like any non-profit program, the CAPS Program needs funding for sustainability. Donations to help continue trainings, events, and outreach are needed. Please contact our CAPS Program Manager for more information.

Grants

If you are aware of grants to help sustain the program, please contact the Program Manager. The CAPS Program requires additional funding streams to continue the program beyond the two year grant period, which will end in March, 2009.
